The Type ‘C’ Fig. No. 513 Pressure Reducing Valve is a direct-acting, self-contained, single-seat valve featuring a balanced spindle, piston-operated control mechanism, and spring-loaded regulation system.
The downstream pressure is directed to the control piston, which automatically adjusts the valve position by opening or closing against the flow to maintain the desired reduced pressure. The balanced spindle design ensures stable and accurate pressure regulation, regardless of fluctuations in the inlet pressure.
This valve is ideally suited for controlling high-pressure applications involving water, oil, air, gas, and various chemical processing systems, providing reliable and efficient pressure reduction across a wide range of industrial installations.
